Trick-or-Treat! Actually, I think many people trick-or-treated last night because of all the rain we’re expecting today. Still, there might be a few, drenched kids asking for candy on your doorstep tonight, so go get some if you have already eaten it all (I definitely don’t have any left).

In honor of this special holiday and the new Halloween movie, I have a special podcast for you this week.

First, let me preface this by mentioning the movie Halloween that is in theaters right now. I know I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to scary, but I was genuinely scared the whole movie. (Of course, there were also moments where I was asking, “Why would you do that? Are you stupid?” It isn’t a scary movie if you don’t!) Actress Jamie Lee Curtis played Laurie so well again, and what she did at the end…. Please go see this movie tonight!

Now, on to why you actually clicked on my blog. The podcast this week is Halloween Unmasked. This podcast takes an in-depth look at Halloween, examining the killer himself, Michael Myers. It develops your understanding of how the movie broke tradition and became a horror classic.

It is a really good podcast with interviews with the cast and others. It will give you a complete view of the movie like you haven’t experienced yet.

As an added bonus, I’ve included the trailer for the new Halloween movie. Watch it!

  1. I haven’t seen any of the Haloween movies but I love scary movies. I think I’m gonna have to listen to the podcast and definitely go see the movie.
