We are getting closer to Halloween! Woohoo! I am still working on what I am going to be this year. Maybe a fairytale criminal? Tinkerbell flying under the influence? Or something scary with face makeup and fake blood? I am still working on it. If you have any suggestions, feel free to share in the comments!

This week’s podcast continues the spooky theme of October. Creepy by Jon Grilz is a podcast about all things creepy told in an even creepier way… He dives in to urban legends and other tales, reading with a haunted tone and suspenseful music. It is very entertaining, but some of the stories will leave you shaking. I mean, I am a complete baby with this stuff, but it can get to ya if you ain’t careful.

Personally, I think this is a good podcast, but it did not scare me as much as I wanted it to. Some of the stories I was either uninterested in and tuned out or weren’t living up to my expectations. After listening to The NoSleep Podcast last week, this podcast just couldn’t compete. Maybe I should have listened to them in a different order, or maybe I haven’t reached the best episodes yet. I like to start at the beginning, but I might have to do some jumping on this one. Don’t get me wrong, though; there were a few episodes I was afraid to finish. They sneak up on ya when you least expect it.

All in all, it wasn’t a bad podcast. I will definitely keep listening to it. Who knows? It might have a few more hidden gems to give me nightmares…
